As product complexity and speed of the changes in the market have increased significantly in recent years, companies are finding it increasingly difficult to forecast product requirements into their development processes. This article defines the problem of improving the forecast of an increase in product development agility and eliminating the need for an accurate long-term forecasts. He introduces the concept of developing flexibility, shows how it can be measured, and presents the results from a large empirical study on the integrated development of the systems, which means that projects with flexible technology projects with inflexible technologies exceeded by a factor of 2 , 2 (found in person-months). Finally, the article suggests three main strategies for the introduction of flexibility in organizations. These strategies can help companies increase their agility and position themselves to succeed in the acceleration and turbulent markets.
