Corporacion Credito al Menor (CCM) was created to protect young girls at risk of neglect, abuse or poverty. The CCM was developed from Banco BCI, a local bank. The early proponents were the manager of the BCI and the Bank Controller, which means out of pocket made available to finance these institutions. Later, the Bank has contributed additional funds. Although there was no legal agreement that the CCM Banco BCI bound, in time de facto commitment and cooperation between the two organizations developed. The nonprofit grew and faced the challenge of expanding its investments in other regions of the country. The decision to extend needed new sources of funding for CCM and are considering going beyond the limits of the Bank to seek new donors.
