The company has three strategic options: (1) sale of the company, (2) buy another company, or (3) to grow organically. Under these conditions, students are asked to perform an analysis of the industry and help the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Closing the Gap, take the appropriate decision. In the (B) case, students are asked to evaluate an acquisition opportunity and advise the CEO, whether the takeover will be successful or not.
