Much has been made of dysfunctional executive behavior in recent years. As such, the purpose of this article to assist organizations in the design of executive work. To build a better working environment, decreases the self-interested and unethical behavior, we suggest that organizations structure of an executive working at three factors: environmental accountability, management selection and composition-relationship. These factors are used to describe how companies can better develop leaders working to promote more desirable executive behavior. We describe how these factors are to be calibrated, and how they influence each other.
