The restaurant faced criticism from pro-gay support not assigned to the individual with the restaurant manager and rights activists after the daughter of the owner, a personal donation to California Ballot Proposition 8, the activists. The case transpires over an eight-day period from 4 November 2008, which was the day of the election, if the ballot passed statement to 12 November 2008 that if the manager had a public breakfast at El Coyote publicly discuss the issue.The was central tension in the case revolves around how the manager donation to a measure that legally defines marriage as between a man and has supported a woman collected the restaurant with unwanted attention, though they separated a personal contribution and does not approve of the economy.
