Started in 1989 by Singapore-based entrepreneur Olivia Lum, Hyflux was one of the pioneers in the emerging industrial age is China’s water treatment market in 1993 servicing numerous production. In 1998, Hyflux to broaden market and accelerate growth, Lum moved in municipal water treatment market in Singapore. Thus jumped Hyflux sales of S $ 17.7 million in 2000 (9 months) to S $ 554 million in 2008 and 2008 despite the global recession, while the remained its strong local company, the company was able, great quality projects in North Africa secure.
