La Fageda is a manufacturer of high quality, natural yoghurts made in northern Catalonia, Spain. La Fageda differs significantly from its main competitors such as Danone in multinational that made it a 270-person co-workers, 60 percent of its members of people with intellectual disabilities. Since its founding in 1982, the organization has the goal to integrate the mentally disabled through meaningful jobs and decent salaries. From March 2010, La Fageda has a new production facility, opened to make ice cream in an urban area outside their known farm. The students are confronted with the understanding La Fageda business model and how it competes against multinationals.
