Perhaps more than any previous ventures Greg, Quadriserv represented a move in an established market with strong and entrenched incumbent. Greg had an audited record of startups in the commercial and financial sector, but the difference in this case was that Quadriserv would take on some of the oldest and most traditional companies in the U.S. finances. Quadriserv goal was a bold one: to revolutionize the equity securities lending market. While the potential payout was large, the risk of loss was not lost on Greg and the company’s other principals. Furthermore, the current time represented an important decision point for the company.
