From the outset, resolution Copper Mining (RCM) joint venture was a series of important technical, political and environmental challenges as it tries to develop a strategy for the reduction of a copper ore body below the Tonto National Forest in Superior, Arizona. As President and CEO of RCM, confronted David Salisbury to hold a series of major decisions in 2008-10 to complete the project going. The success of the mine tarnished a politically complicated land exchange and an act of Congress in which the federal government would give RCM country with the copper ore in exchange for packages of ecological importance. Achieving this goal requires Salisbury with multiple stakeholders and navigate a complicated landscape Congress.
