Ring production, the sole owner of the intellectual property and production for the flow meter, controls 62 percent of the ownership of Silver Sales Company. The President is considering his long-term involvement in the organization. Recently the President has been approached by a British company, which is a sales agent for Silver Sales Company products. The company has expressed an interest in a possible merger or acquisition between two companies expressed and further stated that it has to support an investor’s wishes. The President is now trying whether a closer relationship, or sell, in order to determine the British company could be a possibility for him to capture some of the value it has created in recent years.
