This case fits with courses that focus on designing an environmental sustainability and systems thinking, students and formulate recommendations for action depend on the conservation of natural resources industries to help. Students are asked to construct a stock-flow map that shows the interactions between markets, prices, production, policy and environmental impact. Class discussion explored stakeholder perspectives and compares student cards to an actual card from a consultant working in the shrimp industry built. Followed by a B case [OM 1389] and a system simulation model for further exploration of the issues surrounding the design and testing of policy, improve industry.
